Introduced as a purebred muscle car, the Firebird 400 boasts a 6.6-liter V8, delivering 325 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque. It sprints from 0-60 mph in 6.4 seconds.

The 1965 GTO, with a revamped body and upgraded mechanics, offers a 6.4-liter V8 with 360 horsepower and an impressive 431 pound-feet of torque. Accelerating from 0-60 mph in under 6 seconds, it’s a true powerhouse.

Initially an aesthetic option, the GT-37 evolved in 1971 with powerful Pontiac 455 engines. With up to 335 horsepower and 480 pound-feet of torque, it reaches 0-60 mph in 5.4 seconds.

Featuring a distinctive design, the 2002 Trans Am WS6, powered by a 5.7-liter V8 LS1, achieves 325 horsepower and 340 pound-feet of torque. It accelerates from 0-60 mph in just 5.1 seconds.

Released shortly before Pontiac’s demise, the 2008 G8 GXP competes with the BMW M5.
