High-Octane Justice: Turkish Police Unleash Seized $3.5-Million Fleet of Performance Cars

In a stunning move, the Turkish Police Department has acquired a fleet of luxury and performance vehicles valued at $3.5 million, seized from a prominent drug trafficker. Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya shared a captivating video on X, showcasing over two dozen sports cars, supercars, and SUVs transformed into police cruisers after a successful operation over the weekend.

The impounded collection, totaling 23 vehicles, spans from high-end models like the Bentley Continental GT and Porsche Taycan to performance-oriented cars like the Ferrari 458 and Volkswagen Golf R. Luxury SUVs, including the Range Rover Sport and Mercedes-Benz GLS, contribute to the estimated $3.5 million value (100 million Turkish Liras) of the fleet.

The Turkish Police released the following statement on X:

You have always heard this promise from us since the first day we took office: Peace in Turkey…

As a result of the successful operations carried out by our Istanbul Police Department against organized crime organizations, 23 vehicles were seized.
Following the court decision, these vehicles were handed over to our police.

From now on, these tools do not belong to criminal organizations; It will be at the disposal of our police and at the service of our Nation!

I would like to thank each and every one of our heroic police officers who work tirelessly for the peace of our country.

May our unity, solidarity and peace be eternal.

The vehicles, formerly owned by Hakan Ayik, a notorious figure and leader of the Comanchero Motorcycle gang in Australia, were confiscated following his arrest in Istanbul. Ayik, along with 36 associates, faced legal action as part of the crackdown on organized crime. Turkish Interior Minister Yerlikaya highlighted the success of the Istanbul Police Department’s operations, emphasizing that the 23 seized vehicles were officially handed over to the police after a court decision.

These high-performance cars are slated for duty with the traffic police in Turkey, signaling a unique addition to law enforcement that will undoubtedly deter speedsters from attempting to navigate the streets of Istanbul recklessly.
